New York: The United Nations’ Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is concerned over the tense situation in Kashmir, following the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.
Spokesperson to UN’s secretary general Stephane Dujarric said that the UN chief has noted with concern the situation unfolding in Kashmir.
Spokesperson said that Ban Ki-moon is not only concerned over killing of innocent Kashmiris at the hands of Indian troops, but also he has expressed his concern over tension prevailing in held Kashmir.
Amnesty International has also voiced grave concern over martyrdom of people of Kashmir, during the firing by Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir.
