Teenage joggers struck and killed by car in Aldershot

The crash happened in Queen’s Avenue near Aldershot Military Stadium shortly after 19:10 GMT

HAMPSHIRE: Two teenage girls have died after being struck by a car while jogging. The victims, who have not been identified, were fatally injured in Aldershot, Hampshire, just after 19:10 GMT on Tuesday.

The girls were struck by a black Ford Focus on Queen’s Avenue, police said. No-one else was injured. Specialist officers are providing support to the teenagers’ families. A 24-year-old man has been arrested and remains in police custody. Queen’s Avenue was closed for several hours.
