Police launch appeal to find girls, 12 and 13, reported missing after failing to return home from school

LONDON: Met Police have launched a public appeal for help to locate two London schoolgirls who were reported missing. Officers are trying to find Isabelle Thacker, 12, who was last seen wearing her school uniform, and Erica Madjidian, 13, after both failed to return home from school. The girls were reported missing to police on Wednesday night and are believed to be together. The girls both attend the same school in the Fulham area of west London but also have links to the South Kensington and Wandsworth areas, said police. Police did not identify the school that the girls attend. Isabelle is described by police as a light skinned female with Oriental features, approximately 5ft 4in tall with long, dark brown hair with dyed reddish tips. She was last seen wearing a school uniform consisting of black blazer, black skirt, white shirt and black tights. Erica is described as a white female with long, brown hair. She was last seen wearing a green bomber jacket and black jeans. A police spokesperson said: “The girls both attend the same school in the Fulham area but have links to the South Kensington and Wandsworth areas. Anyone who has seen Isabelle or Erica is asked to contact Notting Hill CID via 101 or the charity Missing People on 116000.”
