Pakistanis to now get Qatar visa on arrival


DOHA: In an exciting news for Pakistanis, the country has been added to the list of 80 countries whose nationals will be able to travel to Qatar and obtain a visa on arrival.

Qatar Airways website stated that Pakistani nationals, with a valid passport for a minimum of six months from arrival date, will be able to obtain a visa on arrival.

However, Pakistani nationals would be needing a return or onward ticket and can apply for extending their stay beyond 30 days. Moreover, for a stay longer than 30 days, a residence permit would be required, the website added.

Qatar Airways website stated that in order to be issued the visa on arrival, Pakistani nationals would have to show their passport valid for up till 6 months from arrival date and a return/forward ticket.

The visa can be obtained for a maximum of 30 days.
