Pakistan detains 43 Indian fishermen for violating territorial limits

KARACHI: The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) arrested 43 Indian fishermen over violation of territorial sea limits on Sunday. Station House Officer (SHO) of Docks police station, Amin Marri said that 43 Indian fishermen were detained while illegally fishing in the territorial limits of Pakistan. The fishermen have been handed over to the local police for further legal action. A case has been registered against them under the Foreigner’s Act and the Fisheries Act. The arrested fishermen will be presented in court on Monday.
