LONDON: Pakistan cricket remains one of the most followed sides of the game, with cricketing fans emerging from unexpected places.
After the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police in London revealed herself to be a fan of Pakistan legendry all rounder Imran Khan and Pakistan cricket.
Cressida Dick, the first female Commissioner of Metropolitan Police in London said that she had been a supporter of the Pakistan cricket team since 1972, when she met the team’s future captain Imran Khan.
“I have supported Pakistan since I was 11 years old when I met Mr Imran Khan,” said Dick, who was a keen cricketer at school and university, quoted BBC Asia.
Pakistan legendry captain Imran Khan is widely considered among the greatest cricketers of all times, the former captain remains an instrumental force in the cricketing world.
