LOLLYWOOD: Iranian actress and model Mandana Karimi’s Pakistan debut film ‘Maan Jao Na’ will hit cinemas across the country today (Friday).
The film is being produced by Muhammad Khalid Bhatti under the banner of Crew Films Motion Pictures.
Referring to the Iranian model, who is making her debut in the movie, Adeel said, “It has been absolutely fantastic working with Naaz. She is an old friend and an amazing person. I asked her to be a part of the film and I’m glad she agreed to it”.
Speaking about the usual comparison with Bollywood that actors face, Adeel said he feels that Pakistani film industry can’t compete with them due to lack of technical resources. “We can’t compete with them just like they can’t compete with Hollywood. Comparing us with Bollywood is not going to do good for any one at all. We can compete with them in terms of talent but when it comes to technology they use in their movies, we don’t have those resources”.
Written by Asma Nabeel and Ahsan Raza, the film cast also includes Adeel Chaudhry, Hajra Yameen, Ayaz Samoo, Asma Abbas, Gana Ali and Asif Raza Meer.
The 28-year-old actress has also appeared in various Indian films including Roy, Kya Kool Hain Hum-3, Bhaag Johnny, Main aur Charles and reality show Big Boss.
