Alia Bhatt: I am not scared of risks

BOLLYWOOD: Look before you leap”- is what we are told time and again. But at times, in order to prove your mettle, you just have to take the leap of faith. You have to challenge yourself, take some unavoidable risks. And it’s a well-known fact that success does follow when we move out of our comfort zone and challenge ourselves. Need some more inspo? Well, Alia Bhatt is here to give you just that.

Alia, who has emerged as one of the most bankable stars in B-Town within a span of just five years, says she never thinks twice before taking a risk when it comes to choosing scripts.

“At the end of the day, everything is a risk. I’m not scared of risks. You need to see if it’s a fruitful, worthwhile experience. Sometimes it will work, sometimes it won’t,” the Bhatt girl told DNA.

Alia has worked in films across various cinematic genres. From comedy to intense drama, love stories to slice-of-life films, she has done it all. The character she played in Udta Punjab (2016) wasn’t a cakewalk, but she took up the challenge and it sure paid off. Alia feels she has taken yet another risk with her upcoming film Raazi, and she wants to see how it fares at the box office.

“You need to understand what is working for you at a particular time. That’s also a reason why I’m curious to see how Raazi is going to fare. The trailer has got widespread response, now, I want to know if the film also gets a similar reaction from the public,” she said.
