Google Doodle commemorates Amrish Puri

BOLLYWOOD: The tech giant, Google is celebrating the 87th birth anniversary of late Bollywood actor Amrish Puri. The doodle featured  the sketch of late Puri in a white kurta and black shawl on Saturday, inspired from his look in the film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le jaenge’, made by artist Debangshu Moulik.

He has more than 200 films to his credit in over half a dozen languages, that include Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Punjabi, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and English.

The legendary actor gave one of his most memorable performances at the age of 55 playing Mogambo in the 1987 cult classic Mr. India, in his deep-voice “Mogambo khush hua” become his signature dialogue.
