Pakistani team batting first had posted a defendable target of 215 with the help of Nahida Khan‘s 68. Bangldesh’s Jahanara Alam took three wickets for 44 runs to bag the Pakistan team in 48.5 over.
Despite Nigar Sultana‘s 58 against Pakistan women cricket team, Bangladesh women team got all out for 186 runs in 47.4 over.
Sana Mir took three wickets for 49 runs, whereas Diana Baig, Sadia Iqbal and Nashra Sandhu took two wickets each and won the match by 29 runs.
According to a PCB press release, ahead of their next month’s final round ICC Women’s Championship fixture against world champions England in Malaysia, this series provides a crucial opportunity to the Bismah Maroof-led side to get their permutations and combinations right.
