Virat Kohli told to follow Imran Khan

NEW DELHI: Ex-Indian cricketer and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar has asked Virat Kohli to follow the footsteps of former Pakistan captain Imran Khan.

According to details, Manjrekar said when Imran Khan was leading a strong Pakistan team, he urged his board to schedule tougher challenges for his team. Virat must do the same, he remarked.

Let it be known that it was due to this approach that Imran won the World Cup in 1992 despite being the underdogs of the tournament.

It is worth mentioning here that the statement of Majrekar came after two relatively easy tours for the Indian team, who defeated West Indies first, and then Sri Lanka in their respective homes.
