Varun files complaint against stalker threatening to commit suicide

MUMBAI: Being a Bollywood celebrity isn’t easy. While on the outside, it may seem all glamorous and fancy, digging deeper may lead to the uncovering of some not-so-pleasant moments. And looks like, Judwaa 2 actor Varun Dhawan learned this the hard way considering his recent unpleasant experience with stardom. And the matter at hand has turned so serious that Varun was even forced to file a police complaint against his stalker. Here’s what happened.

As reported by Mid-day, on November 2, Varun had filed a complaint with the Santacruz police urging immediate action against a woman who has been stalking him on social media and making his life difficult. His complaint to the police claimed that Varun was being bombarded by messages from a female fan through WhatsApp due to which Varun blocked her number.

However, it didn’t end there! Days later, Varun even got a phone call from an unidentified number who threatened him saying that the woman would commit suicide if he did not respond to her messages on WhatsApp, a senior police officer has told Mid-day. Varun has also sent a complaint to the cyber police station at Bandra Kurla Complex.
