Ushna Shah admits to “sexist” remarks about pizza boy

KARACHI: Pakistani actor Ushna Shah has refused to apologise for ‘demeaning’ and passing ‘sexist remarks’ to a delivery guy.

The actor took to her Twitter handle and wrote that the pizza delivery guy had refused to come inside her house because he was scared of her Pitbull. She admitted that she told the delivery guy that ‘he should become a man’ and that ‘he was not a four-year-old girl’.

“To everybody crying about my rant to the pizza guy. I was holding the dog. He refused to come in. The first ten minutes of “mera waada hei kuch nahi Hota”, “meina pakra hua hei issey please guzar jayein” “bahadur baneyin Shahbash” didn’t work,” she tweeted.


Soon after her admission,the Balaa star came under the thunder of Twitteratis for not just going out herself and getting the food. Some users even schooled her saying that the delivery person was scared of coming inside because he had phobia.

Ushna Shah, who predominantly works in Urdu cinema and television. She is the daughter of actress Ismat Tahira and sister of Irsa Ghazal. After making her acting debut in the 2013 romance Mere Khwabon Ka Diya, Shah had her first critical success with the 2014 thriller Bashar Momin.
