BOLLYWOOD: Twitter has been on a rampage ever since the trailer of Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2 – starring Tiger Shroff and glamourous debutantes Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday – dropped yesterday.
From Shroff’s aerial action stunts to the two young beauties fighting for love, the three-minute-long clip included everything one would expect from a film based on a high-octane school competition – except studying. And of course, that didn’t go unnoticed by the fans.
While Johar’s new batch of ‘students’ looks more than perfect with their six-pack abs, exquisite dance sequences, mind-boggling stunts and a swanky millennial wardrobe, a section of social media are accusing Student Of The Year 2 of making fun of the Indian education system.
Twitterati has been taking every opportunity to take a dig at the actors, as well as the makers alike. Here’s all they had to say:
“Student of the Year: David Dhawan’s son, Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter and Siddharth Malhotra. Student of the Year 2: Jackie Shroff’s son, Chunky Pandey’s daughter and Tara Sutaria. If nepotism is engineering, Dharma Productions is IIT Bombay,” a user penne

I can’t believe that Will Smith wanted to be in a Bollywood film and they decided to add him into Student of the Year 2 of all films.
