So who won I’m a Celebrity’s battle of the sexes?

I'm a Celebrity

The battle of the sexes raged on during tonight’s (November 27) instalment of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Last time we saw the element of the trial featuring a jungle version of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, which you can read all about here, but the long and short of it is that Jamie Lomas and Dennis Wise got a head-start in the race back to camp again over Shappi Khorsandi and Becky Vardy.

Tonight’s trial was split into four parts: fire, air, water and earth ― a battle against the elements.

The first part of the trial involved making a fire (making it the ‘fire’ trial), something that can take ages if you don’t do it right, so the girls really needed to do it sharpish. Unfortunately for them, Shappi spent ages faffing around looking for her helmet…

Round two involved abseiling down a cliff (the ‘air’ challenge), but more interesting was the ‘earth’ task back in camp where the boys and girls teams had to count coloured pebbles. Amir tried distracting the girls but new jungle PM Stanley and Iain ended up distracting each other by rowing, and the girls claimed victory.

The final part of the trial, the ‘water’ challenge, saw the stars swim upriver, but it wasn’t as simple as paddling from point A to point B, once they got out of the water they then had to assemble a flag to be declared winner and earn the feast.

Unfortunately for the girls, by the time they made it to dry land, the boys had already claimed victory.

The boys tucked into a veritable feast while the girls were stuck with rice and beans.

Rounding off the episode, Ant & Dec revealed the celebrity facing the ‘Space Your Fears’ trial is Iain.
