Shoaib Akhtar: ‘I am coming back’

LONDON: The world’s fastest-bowler Shoaib Akhtar made an intriguing announcement of his come back and challenged the youngsters to witness the real speed.

The speedster posted a video on his official Twitter handle, said he will make a comeback on 14 Feb and teach kids of today what speed is.

“Kids today think they know a lot and can challenge my speed. I want them to know that I am coming back and I will show them what speed really is,” the former Pakistani cricketer said in a video message on his Twitter handle.

The lethal pacer have played all formats of the game over a fourteen-year career. He bagged 178 and 247 Test and ODI wickets respectively. He bowled the fastest delivery during his cricketing career officially recorded top seed of 161.3 km/h.

Many of his fans have expressed their desire to let him play in the Pakistan Super League. However, it is still unclear what he is up to.
