NEW DEHLI: Legendary spinner Shane Warne on Sunday named Yasir Shah from Pakistan, Rashid Khan from Afghanistan and Kuldeep Yadav from India as his most favorite current bowlers in limited overs cricket as they have been extraordinary in their own way.
Warne believed that wrist spinner is the key to get wickets in limited overs cricket as it has always been confusing to the batsman. Being unbiased to finger spinners in the game, he said, “A good spinner bowler is a good spin bowler. It does not matter if he is a finger spinner or wrist spinner. Saqlain Mushtaq, Muttiah Muralitharan, Daniel Vettori, there were so many good finger spinners in my time.”
Warne looked really forward to watch these enthusiastic youngsters in upcoming Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales. He claimed that these bowlers will get the desired result with their ball as they believe in attacking, no matter if they give away few extra runs but they will get their team the wickets they need.
Warne also termed India’s Rishabh Pant as successor to MS Dhoni. He said that this youngster can get India the kick they need at any position he bats. He also added that he can be beneficial for India when MS Dhoni retires.
We don’t need to pay any heed to their distinctive power as long as they get the expected result, he said.
