Ravi Bopara praises Karachi in Punjabi

LONDON: English cricketer Ravi Bopara – who plays for Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League (PSL) – has lauded ‘top class’ security provided to him during his stay here in Karachi, Pakistan.

Karachi Kings’s player Ravi Bopara is leaving no stone upturned to impress Karachiities, as the England all-rounder was all praises about the city while expressing his love for Karachi and that too in Punjabi.

 

The 32-year-old all-rounder made a short stop to Karachi before leaving for Dubai along with Karachi Kings squad for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 3. During the visit, he participated in the team’s launching event as well.

 While speaking to the media, Bhopara praised Karachi in Punjabi saying, “Karachi bara sona hai [Karachi is very beautiful ].”

Before leaving for Dubai, the England international also tweeted, “Thank you Karachi and thank you for the top class security, making my stay a very pleasant one. Hopefully we will see you all in the final.”
