AUCKLAND: Pakistan cricket team have Tuesday reached New Zealand to play three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and two Test matches against the Kiwis.
The 54-member squad – including players and support staff – landed in Auckland and then reached Christchurch. All members will remain under complete isolation for three days during which they will not be allowed to train.
The squad – which has been divided into four groups – will observe 14-day local isolation policy and remain under quarantine. All groups will train separately at their fixed time and place.
The first T20I between the Green Shirts and the Black Caps will be played at the Eden Park, Auckland on December 18 followed by second at the Seddon Park, Hamilton on December 20 and third at the Mclean Park, Napier on December 22.
The T20I series will be followed by two Test matches – part of the ICC World Test Championship. The first match is scheduled at the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui from December 26-30 while the second will be played at the Hagley Oval, Christchurch from January 3-7.
