Mehbooba says Pak-India dialogue only option to end Kashmir violence

SRINAGAR: An official in Indian Kashmir has called on Pakistan and India to resume dialogue, which she says is the only solution to the 70-year-old dispute between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.

Mehbooba Mufti , chief minister of Indian Kashmir , Sunday made an appeal to Islamabad and New Delhi to resume negotiations to end the ongoing bloodshed in the valley, reported NDTV.

“Resumption of dialogue between India and Pakistan is the only way forward to end the bloodshed in Kashmir ,” she said at a ceremony to observe the second death anniversary of her father and former chief minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed.
