BIRMINGHAM: Pakistan’s young medium-fast bowler Hasan Ali on Friday has appealed the cricket lovers to pray for the victory of Pakistan against India in Champions Trophy final.

In his recent video message, Hasan Ali thanked the people for their love and support and also expressed determination in winning the champions title.

It is to be mentioned here that Hasan Ali has become the leading wicket-taker of Champions Trophy whereas he has also equaled Shoaib Akhtar’s 15-year-old record by taking five wickets twice in a calendar year since 2002.

Hasan Ali has also become the second youngest bowler to take five-wicket haul in the West Indies.

He is also a strong candidate of golden ball award in CT.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma’s unbeaten century sealed India’s place in a Champions Trophy final against arch-rivals Pakistan after the title-holders thrashed Bangladesh by nine wickets at Edgbaston on Thursday.

Bangladesh’s total of 264 for seven never looked like being enough and was duly made to look inadequate by India s powerful top-order.
