‘Game of Thrones’ bags record Emmy nominations

HOLLYWOOD: The nominations for the annual Emmy awards, celebrating the best in television, were announced on Tuesday. The awards will be handed out at a ceremony in Los Angeles on September 22. Medieval fantasy drama ‘Game of Thrones’ bagged most of the nominations scoring a record 32 Emmy nominations on Tuesday.

The Emmy Awards will feature 26 different categories ranging from acting and writing awards to awards for different types of programs — comedies, dramas and talk shows, among others.
