Former Indian cricketer’s wife slaps man for ‘inappropriate touch’

MUMBAI: A 55-year-old resident from Mumbai filed a complaint against former cricketer Vinod Kambli and his wife on charges of assaulting him.

In the complaint, according to NDTV, Rajendra Kumar Tiwari mentioned that Kambli’s wife assaulted him and her bodyguards manhandled his son at Inorbit Mall.

Tiwari said that while he was leaving the play zone with his grand-daughter a woman suddenly punched his face. When he informed his son about the incident, the couple’s bodyguard started manhandling them.

The man was injured in the scuffle that followed. The father-son duo filed a non-cognizable complaint against Kambli and his wife.

The complainant took CCTV footage from the mall to support his claim.
