Fawad Khan replaced in Dhadkan sequel

MUMBAI: Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan has been cut out from sequel of the 2000 hit film Dhadkan. Earlier reports of Indian media suggested that the ‘Khoobsurat’ actor was approached for the role of Dev, previously played by Suniel Shetty. Rumours were also there that Sooraj Pancholi and Shraddha Kapoor are in talks to play the role of Ram (Akhsay Kumar) and Anjali (Shilpa Shetty). However; now Fawad has been replaced by Indian model Rohit. Following the Uri attack in September last year, Indian Motion Picture Producers  Association (IMPPA) passed a resolution banning Pakistani talent from working in India. Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Ali Zafar were barred from promoting their films and were threatened to leave India by MNS.
