Coronavirus cases across world crosses 18.9 M

LONDON: The number of Coronavirus cases across the world has crossed 18.9 million while the pandemic has claimed more than 709,000 lives so far.

More than 12.1 million patients have recovered from the disease across the world.

There have been at least 306,200 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the United Kingdom, according to Public Health England. As of Thursday morning, 46,299 people had died.

The United States is the worse hit, where cases have mounted over 4.9 million and death toll reached over 161,000.
