Abbas returns to top ten bowlers in ICC Test rankings

DUBAI: Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Abbas has returned to top ten bowlers (10th place) in the ICC Test Rankings with 770 rating points.

Leg-spinner Yasir Shah (710 rating points) is at 16th place in the rankings while there is no Pakistani in top ten batsmen. Babar Azam (658 rating points) is the highest ranked Pakistan batsman at sixteenth slot.

On the other hand, Aussies Steve Smith (937 rating points) and Pat Cummins (908 rating points) consolidated their top spots among Test batsmen and bowlers respectively.

Virat Kohli is second best batsman (903 rating points) followed by New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson (878 rating points). Among bowlers, South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada (851 rating points) is at second spot and India’s Jasprit Bumrah (835 rating points) at third.
